RingReady alternatives and pricing

The short answer

RingReady starts at $49 a month on its Professional plan, flat, with unlimited calls and minutes and no overage. Growth is $99 at a promotional price, regular $129, and Scale is $299. It texts a booking link rather than writing to a calendar, and its terms add a fair-use policy. Rosie and Dialzara bill by the minute, Goodcall by customer, Smith.ai adds live agents, and CoveDesk is run for you.

RingReady’s pitch is simple: $49 a month, unlimited calls and minutes, no overages. So the price may not be why you’re looking elsewhere. The questions are what happens to a caller who needs a person right now, and whether a texted booking link is enough. Here’s what its own pages say, the side-by-side with CoveDesk, and other options.

Updated November 3, 2026. CoveDesk is one of the services on this page; other companies’ prices and features are from their own websites, linked below.

RingReady alternatives, by what you need

  • Rosie: Books straight onto your calendar and offers warm transfers on its middle plan, in exchange for counting minutes. From $49/month: 250 minutes, as published.
  • Goodcall: Books during the call and tries several contacts when something’s urgent, with the bill based on callers rather than minutes. From $79/month: 100 unique customers, as published.

  • Smith.ai: Software and live agents together, with urgent calls sent to on-call technicians under rules you set. From $0/month: 25 calls answered by software, as published.

RingReady pricing

PlanPriceIncludesExtra use
Professional$49/monthunlimited calls and minutes, 1 mid-call text link, text and email summariesNone
Growth$99/month (promotional; regular $129)Adds website chat, up to 5 mid-call text links, after-call text, team logins, recording with 7-day historyNone
Scale$299/monthAdds ad conversion sends, live context from your docs, recording with 14-day history, phone and text supportNone

Professional at $49 is the entry plan, flat, with no per-minute charges or overages. It leaves out call recording, website chat and team logins, which start on Growth. Growth’s $99 is a promotional price with $129 struck through, and the page says $99 stays while you stay subscribed. A flat price means your cost per minute falls as you get busier: 49 cents at 100 minutes, under 10 cents at 500. Its terms add a fair-use policy, and say the plan works best for businesses that aren’t call centers or doing high-volume telemarketing.

Stay with RingReady if

  • You take a lot of minutes. Unlimited at a flat price is hard to match on a metered plan once your month runs long. CoveDesk has a set number of minutes.
  • You run on Jobber, ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro. It has a setup guide for each, connected through Zapier or a webhook. CoveDesk has no job software connection yet.
  • Your callers speak Spanish or something else. 50+ languages, detected on the call. CoveDesk has no Spanish yet.
  • You want both a trial and a guarantee. A 7-day trial with no card to start, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee, though the refund terms aren’t given. We have a free 14-day pilot and the guarantee, with our team doing the setup.

At what point is RingReady’s $49 the lower price?

Worked from each company’s published prices, on price alone:

  • Against Upfirst. Past 46 calls a month. At 46 calls Upfirst’s Starter with extras is $48.95.
  • Against Dialzara. Past 101 minutes a month. At 101 minutes Business Lite with extras is $48.68.
  • Against Rosie. Past 250 minutes a month. Rosie is the same $49 up to there, then moves you to $149.
  • Against Goodcall. At every size, since Goodcall starts at $79.

That’s the price, not the product. Goodcall and Upfirst book onto a calendar at those sizes, Dialzara does from its $99 plan, and RingReady texts a link. At very low volume, say 20 calls a month, the metered plans are the lower bill.

What the same month costs

Worked out from each company’s published list prices: the cheapest plan or plan plus extras that covers the month, lowest first at 250 minutes. For companies that bill by the call we count one call as 2.5 minutes, which is the ratio PATLive’s own pages use. These are our sums, not quotes, and they leave out tax and one-time fees.

Why owners look past RingReady

  • Bookings stay with the caller. It doesn’t write to a calendar. It texts your existing scheduler link during or after the call, and the caller has to finish it. Professional includes one mid-call link.
  • Live handoff is unclear. Its home page FAQ says urgent calls can go straight to your cell, while its help center has no transfer article and describes taking details and sending you a summary. Test this during the trial.
  • $49 leaves out recording and logins. Call recording, website chat and team logins begin on Growth, whose $99 is a promotional price. Recording history is 7 days there and 14 on Scale.
  • Unlimited comes with a fair-use policy. Its terms say there’s no strict minute limit, but also mention call volume limits by plan without giving numbers, and allow it to suspend or end service over excessive usage, without notice. It describes the plan as suited to small and medium businesses with typical call volumes, but gives no figure to check against.
  • Cancelling is final. Its help center says cancelling permanently deletes your receptionist, releases the number and erases call data, so save what you need first.

Where CoveDesk is different

  • Someone else sets it up. RingReady has you pick an industry and voice and forward your calls, with a teammate on a call if you ask. Our team sets up CoveDesk and runs it for you.
  • Urgent calls have one clear path. They go through to you. There’s no on-call rotation yet, so plan on your own phone ringing.
  • Missed-call texts, Google profile and website. The text is included in Front Desk, and the other two are done for you at extra cost or in the Front Office plan. RingReady’s site doesn’t describe profile care or building a website.
  • What you give up. Unlimited minutes, other languages and job software connections. Bookings wait for your callback, and callers hear a short notice at the start of the call.

Switching from RingReady

Before you cancel anything, forward your calls to the new service and make three test calls of your own: a new customer, an urgent problem and a wrong number.

How we checked this

We make CoveDesk, so we’re not neutral, and this page isn’t a review. Everything about RingReady comes from its own website, read on November 3, 2026, with the pages linked below. We haven’t bought its service, and we don’t quote ratings or anyone’s opinion as fact. Where we couldn’t find a fact, we say so instead of guessing, and “not mentioned” means not on the pages we read, which isn’t a search of its whole site.

Common questions

How much does RingReady cost a month?
$49 a month for Professional, per its pricing page on November 3, 2026. Growth is $99 on a promotional price with $129 struck through, and Scale is $299. All three have unlimited calls and minutes, no overages and a $0 setup fee.
Does RingReady really have unlimited minutes?
Its pricing page says unlimited calls and minutes on every plan. Its terms add a fair-use policy: no strict minute limit, but use should fit normal business operations, and the plan works best for businesses that aren’t call centers or doing high-volume telemarketing. They also mention call volume limits by plan, with no numbers given.
Can RingReady transfer a call to me?
Its pages differ. The home page FAQ says it can hand urgent calls off to your cell. The help center has no transfer article and says that when it can’t answer, it takes details and sends a summary. Try a test call during the 7-day trial.
Does RingReady work with Jobber or ServiceTitan?
Its integrations page names both, plus Housecall Pro and Clio, each with a setup guide for connecting through Zapier or a webhook. It describes turning captured calls into Jobber jobs and sending leads to ServiceTitan, and says every integration is included, though a busy account may need a paid Zapier plan.
Can I keep my number if I leave RingReady?
Your own business number, yes. You forward missed calls to RingReady with a code from your phone, so the number stays with your phone company and you turn forwarding off. The number RingReady gives you is released when you cancel, so don’t publish that one.
How do I cancel RingReady?
From your dashboard: My Receptionists, then the receptionist, then Edit Plan, then Cancel Subscription. Its help center says this permanently deletes the receptionist, releases its number and erases call data. Its terms say no refunds for partial months.
Is CoveDesk a live receptionist service?
No. CoveDesk is a phone answering service: a trained voice assistant, set up and run by our team, that picks up in your business’s name at any hour. Callers hear a short notice at the start of the call.
