AnswerPro (HVAC) alternatives, and what it costs
The short answer
AnswerPro, the HVAC answering service at hvacanswerpro.com, publishes no prices and has no pricing page, and its site doesn’t say how it bills. For published prices, Upfirst bills per call, Rosie and Dialzara by the minute, and RingReady a flat month. ServiceTitan sells a voice agent to its own customers, and CoveDesk is set up and run for you.
This page is about AnswerPro at hvacanswerpro.com, an answering service marketed to HVAC businesses. answerpro.com is a separate site, and nothing here is about it. The HVAC AnswerPro publishes no prices and no pricing page, so here’s what its site does say, the side-by-side with CoveDesk, and HVAC-friendly options you can price today.
Updated November 3, 2026. CoveDesk is one of the services on this page; other companies’ prices and features are from their own websites, linked below.

- Rosie: Lists HVAC among its industries, publishes minute plans, and offers Spanish on every call. From $49/month: 250 minutes, as published.

AnswerPro doesn’t publish full prices
We couldn’t find plan prices on AnswerPro’s website (opens in a new tab) when we checked on November 3, 2026.
AnswerPro publishes no prices and has no pricing page: its site is a single page, and hvacanswerpro.com/pricing returned a not-found page when we checked. All it says is that pricing scales and has no hidden fees. It gives no plan names, no per-minute or per-call figures, and no billing rules, so you’d need to get a price from AnswerPro directly.

Stay with AnswerPro if
- You want a service pitched at HVAC. It markets itself to HVAC companies and their residential and commercial callers. CoveDesk serves all small businesses.
- You want an emergency line after hours. You choose whether it screens calls or forwards the important ones. CoveDesk puts urgent calls through to the owner, with no on-call rotation yet.
- You want appointments on the calendar. It says it books them and syncs with your calendar. CoveDesk takes the details and you call them back.
What should you ask AnswerPro before you sign?
Its site doesn’t publish terms or prices, so these are the answers to get in writing. They’re the ones that change the bill and the way out:
- What’s the unit? Per minute, per call or flat, and what does an extra one cost in a busy heating week?
- How are calls rounded? Does a 10-second wrong number count, and are spam calls billed?
- How do I leave? How much notice, does it renew on its own, and is anything billed afterward?
- Who owns the number? If it gives you one, can you take it with you? If you forward your own, what do you need to turn off?
- What does the free try involve? How long does it last, and does it need a card?
- Which tools, by name? It says it works with popular CRMs and calendars. Ask about yours, and whether it takes Spanish calls.
Why owners look past AnswerPro
- You can’t price it from its site. No plans, no rates, no billing unit. You can’t tell whether a busy heating week costs more until you ask.
- The terms aren’t written down. Contract length, cancellation, setup fee and refunds aren’t stated on its site. Its FAQ mentions rigid contracts at other providers without giving its own terms.
- Named connections. It says it works with popular CRMs and scheduling tools and syncs with your calendar, but names none, so ask directly about Jobber, ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro.
- Only one page to read. There’s no help center or comparison page, so language support, texting and on-call handling are questions to put to AnswerPro directly.
Where CoveDesk is different
- Prices you can read before talking to anyone. Ours are on our pricing page, with no setup fee, and Front Desk is month to month.
- A guarantee in writing. 30 days, money back. AnswerPro’s site doesn’t state one.
- Run by our team. AnswerPro’s setup reads as steps you take yourself. We set up and run yours, and missed-call texts are included in Front Desk.
- What you give up. An HVAC focus, calendar booking and a free try. CoveDesk has no job software connection or Spanish yet, and callers hear a short notice at the start.
How we checked this
We make CoveDesk, so we’re not neutral, and this page isn’t a review. Everything about AnswerPro comes from its own website, read on November 3, 2026, with the pages linked below. We haven’t bought its service, and we don’t quote ratings or anyone’s opinion as fact. Where we couldn’t find a fact, we say so instead of guessing, and “not mentioned” means not on the pages we read, which isn’t a search of its whole site.
